BrianScott.jpg

BTG's scholarship winner for 2010 is

Brian Scott

Brian assumed the role of Nathan Detroit in our 2006 production of Guys and Dolls Jr, and did a star turn as Albert Peterson in 2007's Bye Bye Birdie.  You may have seen him around the area working for several local community theater groups - most recently as Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for Wits End Players.  Brian is going off to the Boston Conservatory to study Musical Theatre.  We are so very proud of him and wish him the best!!

Rosemary Sinnett Nesbitt

October 12, 1924 - August 2, 2009

  • Founded in 1942 by Rosemary Sinnett Nesbitt (the wonderful theatre professor at SUNY Oswego), the Baldwinsville Theatre Guild has been presenting quality theater to the Central New York area ever since.  This makes us the oldest continually-performing community theater group in New York State!

  • In addition to theater productions we have one of the largest costume collections in the state and have presented a scholarship annually to an area high school graduate since 1969.

  • We heartily thank the members of the First Presbyterian Church of Baldwinsville, who have welcomed us with open arms to their Education Center. The stage suits our needs very well and gives us an opportunity to continue bringing quality theater productions to our wonderful friends in the community!

  • Membership rules are simple, you must be eighteen years of age or older, and pay your $20.00 annual dues! You need not be a member to attend a General Membership Meeting.

  • Remember, also, that paid BTG members have the privilege of joining BJ’s Wholesale Club at an annual rate of $20.

  • Contact Deborah Taylor through the email link below for any additional information.
